Barbara Schock, a trained forest therapy guide, will lead us on a beautiful walk and introduce a new way of connecting with nature.
Forest bathing is a practice that began in Japan. It is a time of unhurried connection with the forest, other people, and with ourselves. The forest therapy guide invites participants to slow down and allow the wood's richness to wash over them. The forest provides the "therapy". Forest bathing eases stress, bolsters the immune system and helps to regulate blood pressure and heart rate.
Location: We will meet in Settlers Cabin Park in the parking lot for the Tomahawk Grove (on Teepee Drive).
