Sally Lipsky will describe what a plant-based diet is and why eating plants is important for our health and wellness. With a focus on simplicity and convenience, she'll include an overview of preparing plant-based meals, basic shopping lists, helpful resources, and suggestions for sustaining a plant-based lifestyle. There will be time for questions.

Sally Lipsky, PhD., leads Plant-Based Pittsburgh, an all-volunteer non-profit with the mission of providing education and support about adopting and sustaining plant-centered eating habits. She is the author of Beyond Cancer: The Powerful Effect of Plant-Based Eating.
