Crazy 8's Math Club is a recreational after-school math club for elementary age children.  It was created by the Bedtime Math Foundation and aims to promote the love of math among kids. The club offers unique, high-energy math activities that appeal to kids of all math abilities. 

Please Note: Registering for Week 1 will register your child for all 8 weeks of the program. 

Season 2 is for children that have completed Season 1 of Crazy 8's Math Club.

Week 1 - Ninjas on the Run: Sneak through a maze of laser shapes without setting off alarms. Then find hidden number patterns while exchanging secret handshakes!

Week 2 - Going Gaga: This week you’re going to play different games with a beach ball – all involving math! First, you’ll play Zigzag Volleyball, and then you’ll race against the clock in a mathy version of Gaga. You’ll have a ball! 

Week 3 - Super Cube Shuffle: Math and art collide when you use specially colored cubes to create cool designs. After a round of design copy mania, you’ll be a super-cube pro! 

Week 4 - Cowabunga: Play with numbers as you become fence-hopping cows and make up patterns to jump over the fence. Then be a farmer and try to wrangle cows into fields with fences of different sizes. Can you fit them all in? 

Week 5 - Flying Fuzzies: Send fuzzy pom-pom balls flying through the air using popsicle sticks and rubber bands. Figure out what launch positions work best, then measure the flight to prove it. 

Week 6 - Road Trip: Learn the secrets to our highway numbering system, and then roll dice to drive across the country. See whose car makes it to the East Coast first! 

Week 7 - Funky Fractals: Get funky with patterns and mazes! Create crazy patterns with wax sticks and connect them to make a giant version. Then design your own waxy maze to stump your friends. 

Week 8 - Firefighter Training: Discover how firefighters do speedy math to figure out how much water they’ll need to put out a blaze. You’ll also learn what the color of a fire hydrant really means
