HAPPY MAIL - We will be inspired by the work of collage illustrator and creator Vanessa Brantley Newton, and will start of by viewing some of her work and the interesting ways she uses paper to create characters and scenes. Then you will have a chance to create "happy mail" to pass along to friends and family by collaging greeting cards and envelopes.
Ms. Alicia will provide all the supplies you will need to create your collages, but you may bring any interesting paper you may want to use and envelopes for decorating if you would like.
By participating in or attending any library event, program, or class, visitors may be photographed by library staff. The library reserves the right to use these photographs for publicity purposes in printed materials and online. If you or a family member prefer not to be photographed, please inform the library staff in charge before the event begins.
