Each week we will focus on a different crafting technique.

Children entering Kindergarten - 2nd grade in the Fall.  

Crazy 8s is a member of the Bedtime Math family and has activities that enable kids to enjoy math in fun ways!  

For children entering 1st - 3rd grade in the fall  

This fun program will focus on worldwide STEM innovations and activities using inspiring STEM books.

For entering grades 4-6th grade in the fall  

This fun program will focus on worldwide STEM innovations and activities using inspiring STEM books. 

WEAVING STEM

For toddlers up to 36 months

Storytime, fingerplays, songs, and STEM exploration.  

Program will be held outdoors on the patio. In case of inclement weather, the program will move indoors to the meeting room.

For children starting Kindergarten in the fall of 2024. Our last session will have the children order events of a story, recall details to retell a story, and use their creativity to make their own story.

You must bring your own mobile device. Please make sure it has the latest updates as Fortnite takes a LONG time to update on our wifi.

For children and their grown-ups to share creativity together. We will read and explore pop-up books from David A. Carter, Anna Llenas, Matthew Reinhart, and Robert Sabuda.

Storytime Chess is a whimsical storytelling program designed to teach young children the fundamentals of chess.

Story Time Chess uses whimsical storytelling to teach children the game of chess.  

For children ages 3.5 - 7   

Level 3 teaches Piece Valuation and Sportsmanship.   Children should know how the pieces like to move and have completed Level 2 before signing up for this level.  

For ages 4-7 - Must have completed Levels 1 and 2 (and preferably Level 3)

Piece Mobility + Notation - This program emphasizes piece mobility and teaches students how to record a chess game using algebraic notation.

For ages 4-8 who understand the basics of chess

Attacking and Defending

Lessons about offensive and defensive strategies accompany an exciting story series about grit, perseverance, and visualizing moves on the board.

Learning check, attacking, checkmate, fork, pin, skewer, stalemate, and more...
